August 20, 2006:

Our first team of volunteers (Aug 2006) took in breakfast at Youngs's Farm before heading east to our mile of highway on SR-169. We are properly armed and prepared for anything and everything, including rattlesnakes. The total time spent out there was about 2 hours, and we diligently collected 26 trash bags worth of garbage and debris. Thank you for a great effort and your services.

Our second cleanup took place in November 2006 and we had 10 volunteers and accumulated 9 bags of trash. Thanks to all who helped keep America beautiful.

Our third cleanup took place in April 2007 and we had 7 volunteers. We accumulated 5 bags of trash....yep...our area stays pretty clean. We had breakfast at Blue Hills Cafe before heading out to keep America beautiful. Thanks everyone who helped.

Our next tentatively scheduled cleanup will be in the late summer '07
